Solutions

According to many websites, these are the main and most effective soloutions.

Reduce Emissions

In order to effectively address global warming, we must significantly reduce the amount of heat-trapping emissions we are putting into the atmosphere.
As individuals, we can help by taking action to reduce our personal carbon emissions. But to fully address the threat of global warming, we must demand action from our elected leaders to support and implement a comprehensive set of climate solutions.

Stop Deforestation

Tropical deforestation accounts for about 15 percent of the world’s heat-trapping emissions — more than the total emissions of every car, truck, plane, ship, and train on Earth.
Reducing tropical deforestation can significantly lower global warming emissions and — together with efforts to reduce emissions from fossil fuels — plays an integral role in a comprehensive long-term solution to global warming.

Fight Misinformation

Why has it been so difficult to achieve meaningful solutions to global warming? Media pundits, partisan think tanks, and special interest groups funded by fossil fuel and related industries raise doubts about the truth of global warming.
This barrage of misinformation misleads and confuses the public about the growing impacts of global warming — and makes it more difficult to implement solutions to effectively reduce the man-made emissions that cause global warming.

We can also do small things like car pulls, using stairs, use public servuces, no littering etc. Small things can have a great impact!! Bye :D

Sciences

  • The greenhouse effect occurs naturally, providing a habitable climate.
  • Atmospheric concentrations of some of the gases that produce the greenhouse effect are increasing due to human activity and most of the world's climate scientists consider that this is a significant part of the cause of observed climate change.
  • The oceans are a critical part of the climate system, with vastly greater thermal capacity than the atmosphere. A small, slow increase in their temperature is significant.
  • Over one-third of human-induced greenhouse gas emissions come from the burning of fossil fuel to generate electricity. Nuclear power plants do not emit these gases.
The "greenhouse effect" is the term used to describe the retention of heat in the Earth's lower atmosphere (troposphere) due to concentrations of certain trace gases and water vapour in the atmosphere. These gases are generally known as greenhouse gases*. Concentrations of some of them have increased steadily during the 20th century and into the 21st, with CO2 rising from under 300 ppm to 400 ppm. A large part of the increase in all greenhouse gases is attributed to human sources, i.e. it is anthropogenic, hence the term ‘anthropogenic global warming’ (AGW).

Effects

Due to our actions and all the harm that nature and us humans are causing , its definitely has a large effect on our planet.

Due to the excess heat caused by global warming , the sea level is rising. The snow on the glaciers etc are melting ,causing the sea level to rise.  There is lack of food, because we are cutting down trees and we are running out of land which we can habitate.

There is also a huge hole in our atmosphere causing harmful UV rays to enter the earth. UV rays also cause cancer. All sorts of things are being effected. Un-expected climate changes are also happening. Seasons are coming and going faster than they should and.

Cause.

Global Warming has lots of causes, but they're divided into two major categories.
Man- made causes and Natural causes.

Man - Made causes :
Man made causes cause the most damage. There are many ways we effect this planet. Small things like ,using cars  cooking, smoking, littering, burning fossil fuels.

Fossil fuels are made of organic matter such as coal, or oil. When fossil fuels are burned the give off a green house gas called CO2. Also mining coal and oil allows methane to escape. How does it escape? Methane is naturally found in the ground , and when coal or oil is mined, you obviously have to dig up the earth. And when you do dig up the earth. you dig up methane as well. Leading to pollution.
Another cause is pollution. The more the people, the more resources we need. More fuel, more transportial, more food, more water. The more we use these vehicles the more damage we are causing.

Here is another example of Global Warming.

 Natural causes :
Natural causes are such, which are caused by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions etc. When a volcane erupts and the smoke and gas that is let out leads to major Global Warming , or when an earthquake occurs and all the buildings and harmful liquids are released is also another major part of Global Warming.

Introduction

Hey there!
How you doing? As it's pretty obvious this blog is about Global Warming, In this blog you're going to know the Causes, Effects, Science and Solutions of Global Warming.

Global Warming has recently become a very serious issue. Don't know what it means? No problem , Ill tell you :D

You probably would know that for earth;s natural processes, heat needs to escape the earths atmosphere and enter the solar system. Global Warming is caused when excess heat is trapped in the earth's atmosphere and cannot escape.

Here, let me explain it all nice and clearly to you :D
